I would suggest that anyone with spare time should check out the BBC college of journalism's tips and advice on a range of issues related to journalism. As well as videos, comments from journalists, a training exercises i found many tips on many topics relating to journalism. The link below is to reporting tips which i feel could be very useful for year 2. Along with this information i have also found a variety of other websites with similar information and advice which i will post in the next few days, as i do not currently have access to the websites from this computer!
